About Me

Hi, I’m Kelly — a late-diagnosed ADHD woman, mom to two neurodiverse teens. I’m a creative, and chronic over thinker, with nine different Instagram accounts for all the hobbies I was determined to make into a small business. I wanted to stay home, make money, raise my kids and have the life I dreamed of. Each account, now a ghost of a hyper-focused passion that fizzled out as I moved on to the next big creative idea. Never knowing why I couldn’t just make it one of them work. Never knowing until now. Finally I have my ‘why’.

For most of my life, I felt like a wildflower trying to fit in a garden of roses. I masked hard, pushed through, and tried to be everything I thought I “should” be.

Until I realized the wild inside me wasn’t something to hide — it was something to honor. When I started to embrace the wild, rather than try to tame it, this is when I finally felt free.

This blog, The Wild Inside Her, is my space to write like we’re sitting together with coffee (my indulgent self-medication of choice) — no masks, no pressure, no judgment, no ‘waiting mode’, no surface small talk. Just the beautiful chaos of our ADHD minds, finally understood and connected.

I’m Kelly

I created this blog to make sense of life with ADHD after finding out in my 40s that my brain works differently than most. What started as self-discovery has become a space for connection, growth, and hopefully a lot of ‘me too’ moments along the way. Welcome to the beautiful chaos of an ADHD mind!
